Interior Designer and Selections Coordinator

INTERIOR DESIGNER AND SELECTIONS COORDINATOR FOR SARASOTA CUSTOM HOME BUILDER ... Established and dynamic custom home builder is seeking a seasoned interior design professional to manage its new home interior design and home selection process. This position is critical to the client experience and the candidate must be motivated, organized and possess strong interpersonal skills. In addition, the candidate must be creative and have their finger on the pulse of the latest new home design trends. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Collaborate with team member and clients to help conceive and document stylish new home designs. Meet with builder and clients to determine their design goals and put into place a process that meets these objectives. Schedule and attend as necessary all client and builder interior and home design meetings including interior design sessions at in-house Design Gallery and showrooms of certain trades. Prepare sketches and color books for clients and sales team. Prepare interior design drawings for flooring, ceilings, bathroom elevations and other design details. Provide general design guidance to customers and builder throughout the new home design process. Populate and update builder customer design sheets. Coordinate and obtain approvals for design addendums and client change orders. Stock and merchandise builder Design Gallery with materials. Attend promotional events and onsite client meetings, as necessary. Act as client liaison throughout custom home building process. Coordinate with construction team to ensure specifications are communicated and start times/schedule achieved. Builder offers generous compensation and healthcare package
