The Interior Designer demonstrates exceptional design skills, has a background in residential design, and proven experience developing outstanding client relationships. Responsible for designing within a client's budget, the Interior Designer has a working knowledge of construction and residential architectural building code. Office and Administrative Duties: • Participates in meetings as requested, including weekly client meetings, team meetings, and design review meetings. Physical Requirements: • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. • Ability to work at computer or desk area for extended periods of time.

This position will report to the Design Manager and Owners and work typically Monday through Friday. • Produce as built drawings, create imaginative and practical design solutions and prepare floor plans (sketching and/or CAD) and elevation drawings for preliminary client meetings. • Recommend finishes, fixtures, materials, appliances and other miscellaneous items unique to each job and assist the client in shopping at showrooms if necessary for assigned projects as well as other clients. • Establish good working relationship with other team members. The Design Department Manager is responsible for the overall management of the design department, architectural and interior design staff, and is responsible for meeting or exceeding goals set forth by the Leadership Team. The Design Department Manager will collaborate with all other employees as a team and effectively lead all phases of the design process to meet project objectives, budgets... and deadlines. By employing the mission and core values of CRD, the Design Department Manager will represent CRD in various client interactions/communications and remain a trusted source of leadership for both staff and clients. • Work with Production Manager and Project Managers to ensure viability of design for construction. • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
