We are partnering with a globally recognised hospitality interior design studio to appoint a Senior Interior Designer to join their San Francisco team. About the studio As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead the design and coordination of large-scale hospitality interiors from concept through to completion. Lead interior design for multiple hospitality projects (hotels, resorts, F&B, and branded residential), from concept, schematic and design development through to documentation and installation.Develop strong, narrative-driven design concepts, mood imagery, space plans, and interior architecture that reflect the client’s brand and project vision.Produce and oversee drawings, presentations, specifications, and material/FF&E selections with a high level of detail and accuracy.Coordinate and manage the work of the project team, including interior designers, FF&E designers, and visualisers, ensuring clear direction and quality control.Present design work confidently to clients, operators, and consultants; incorporate feedback while protecting the integrity of the design vision.Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders (project management, architecture, lighting, branding, and engineering) to resolve design and technical issues.Review and redline drawings, details, and schedules; ensure compliance with applicable building codes and brand standards in the US and key global markets.Attend client meetings, site visits, and mock‑ups; provide on-site design support and coordinate with contractors during construction.Support resource planning, programme tracking, and fee awareness in partnership with project leadership.Mentor and support the development of more junior team members, promoting a collaborative, learning-focused studio culture. 5–10 years’ professional experience in interior design, with a strong focus on hospitality (luxury hotels, resorts, F&B, or high‑end residential for hospitality brands).Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related discipline.Proven experience delivering large-scale projects from concept through to construction in a design-led studio environment.Strong portfolio demonstrating hospitality projects, clear concept narratives, spatial planning, detailing, and FF&E sensibility.Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office; familiarity with SketchUp, Enscape or similar visualisation tools is preferred.Solid understanding of US building codes, accessibility requirements, and documentation standards; experience in the San Francisco / California market is advantageous.Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills and the ability to manage client relationships.Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline‑driven environment with multiple concurrent projects.Eligible to work full‑time in the United States; relocation support may be considered for exceptional candidates.
