We are excited to invite a talented and collaborative Interior Design Specialist to our team. This hybrid role allows you to engage with cutting-edge workplace and healthcare interiors while working alongside a team that champions creativity, innovation, and inclusivity.
In this position, you'll lead impactful projects from inception to execution, overseeing space planning, systems integration, and design documentation. You'll play a key role in elevating our brand in the Bay Area and beyond, infusing projects with fresh ideas and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the design and execution of healthcare-focused interior projects
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, clients, contractors, and architectural firms
Develop detailed space plans, engaging presentations, and dynamic design workshops (both in-person & virtual)
Address complex design and technical challenges using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM360
Ensure adherence to relevant codes, regulations, and ADA compliance in project documentation
Efficiently manage multiple projects with a focus on client satisfaction
Provide support and guidance to team members on design tools and project processes
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design or architecture (preferably in workplace and healthcare settings)
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, CET, CAP 2020 Worksheet, and Adobe Creative Suite
Familiarity with SketchUp, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and strong design documentation skills
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities; experience in client-facing roles is essential
Thorough understanding of healthcare planning, building codes, and sustainable design principles
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing competing priorities with a positive approach
NCIDQ or CID accreditation preferred; LEED or WELL certification is also a plus
A valid driver's license is required for occasional site visits and meetings with vendors
