Interior Designer/Decorator

RESPONSIBILITIES: Creating in a timely manor, merchandise displays throughout the store or in other defined areasCreating an enjoyable, visually pleasing, and easy shopping experience for the customer to maximize revenue and customer satisfactionAssisting with set up for special in-store eventsDirecting the work of Floor Technicians to accomplish furniture moves on the showroom floorUsing taste, experience, and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsQUALIFICATIONS: A High School diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in a related area ( design, art, architect, etc) is preferredDesign certifications are also preferredA portfolio of your own creations would be ideal2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area is RequiredFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within merchandise visual display RequiredA high degree of creativity and initiative is RequiredJob Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
