High-End Residential Interior Design Purchasing Assistant / Procurement Coordinator — Jacksonville, FL We are seeking a highly organized local Purchasing Assistant / Procurement Coordinator to support a high-end residential interior design firm serving Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, St. Johns, the Beaches, Riverside, Avondale, Ortega, Amelia Island, and surrounding North Florida areas. This is not primarily a design role. The main need is someone who can manage purchasing, vendor follow-up, order tracking, receiving, delivery coordination, invoice entry, and project organization. The right candidate should enjoy organization, purchasing, vendor follow-up, order tracking, and detailed administrative work as much as the creative side of interior design. Responsibilities Enter vendor invoices, purchase orders, bills, and expenses into QuickBooks or similar softwarePlace orders with vendors and track order confirmationsTrack deposits, balances due, lead times, shipping dates, and delivery datesFollow up with vendors on pricing, availability, backorders, freight, and receivingCoordinate receiving, delivery, vendor pickups, and install preparationMaintain project purchasing trackers by client, room, vendor, item, cost, and statusOrganize receipts, invoices, vendor quotes, product specs, and project filesCommunicate professionally with vendors, showrooms, delivery teams, and the internal design teamAssist with occasional errands, showroom visits, site visits, and install supportRequirements Must be local to Jacksonville / North FloridaMust be able to travel locally to client homes, showrooms, vendors, receiving locations, and project sitesStrong Excel or Google Sheets skillsStrong organization and follow-up skillsComfortable with QuickBooks, or willing and able to learn quicklyExperience with purchasing, order tracking, vendor coordination, bookkeeping, interior design, construction, furniture, or home-related vendors preferredDetail-oriented, responsive, and able to manage many moving pieces at oncePreferred Tools / Experience QuickBooksExcel / Google SheetsGoogle Drive / DropboxStudio Designer, DesignFiles, Mydoma, or Houzz ProCanvaAutoCAD or SketchUp helpful, but not requiredSchedule & Pay Flexible part-time hours to startEstimated 10–20 hours per week depending on project flow$22–$32/hour based on experience$25–$35/hour for someone with strong interior design procurement and QuickBooks experienceContract-to-hire potential for the right personTo Apply Please include: Your location and availability.Whether you are comfortable traveling locally for errands, showrooms, site visits, installs, and vendor pickups.Examples of any purchasing tracker, order tracker, sourcing sheet, invoice entry process, vendor coordination work, mood board, presentation board, or design-related organization you have done.Tools/software you are comfortable using.A short note about why you would be a good fit for a purchasing and design operations support role.
