About this role

Jackson Design and Remodeling is an award-winning, industry leader with an outstanding portfolio of design and remodeling projects throughout San Diego County. Our design build firm is San Diego based with over 30 years of experience. We specialize in mid to high-end remodeling, large scale renovations, additions, kitchens and baths. We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Interior Design Assistant. Duties and Responsibilities Assist Senior throughout the design process with floor plans, elevations and construction document sets. Research of appliance specifications, various materials, accessories and more. Produce sourcing and order placements. Preparing, managing and maintaining all project binders, files, correspondence, drawings, etc. Ability to field and address client questions in a timely and accurate manner. General office tasks including filing, answering phones, and guiding perspective clients on tours of our showrooms. Running light errands as needed. Other duties as required. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program is required. Attention to details, highly organized with the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of design principles is vital, working knowledge of construction methods is helpful. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required. Revit experience is preferable. Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
