Design & Content Assistant Private Residence + Personal/Brand Accounts Los Angeles, CA • Full-time • $65,000–$75,000 About the role We're a Los Angeles family/creator/businesswoman looking for a sharp, creative, and highly organized assistant to support a full home design project and help produce content for personal social media accounts. This is a hands-on role for someone one to two years out of school who's equally comfortable in SketchUp and on TikTok. Roughly half the role is design-project support; the other half is content creation and ideation. The design work is at our direction — you don't need to drive the aesthetic, but you do need to execute it cleanly and own the details. What you'll do — design support Layouts: Build and revise furniture layouts and floor plans in SketchUp, at our direction Documentation: Prepare and maintain spec sheets, product schedules, and order tracking Procurement: Place and track orders and coordinate with a white-glove receiving and storage facility Receiving: Check every delivery against spec for accuracy, condition, and completeness, and flag issues promptly Coordination: Keep the project organized — selections, approvals, timelines, and vendor communication What you'll do — content Create: Shoot and edit short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) for a personal brand account Trends: Stay on top of current formats and trends, and bring ideas for what to post Consistency: Maintain a steady posting rhythm and help develop the account's visual voice Have Fun: Maintaining a fun environment is the key to natural content Who you are One to two years out of college; a degree in design or a related creative field is a plus but not required Working knowledge of SketchUp, or other design programs A genuine, everyday user of Instagram and TikTok with a strong eye — you make content regularly and know what looks current Exceptionally organized and reliable — you own your tasks end to end and nothing slips Comfortable working directly with a family, discreet, and adaptable.
