We are seeking a creative, passionate Mid-Level Interior Designer with the ability to wear several hats, work collaboratively with other designers and consultants, and most importantly, lead their own design projects with a sense of ownership, integrity and responsibility Success in this role requires a minimum of 3-6 years hospitality-specific experience. Co-management of project design team deliverables with project presentations (computer and hand rendered) under direction of senior designerFrequent communication with project team, clients, consultants, vendors and contractorsBudget creation, ordering, expediting, and schedulingSample procurement, purchase order issuance and trackingCreation of FF&E spec booksInterior project drawing sets and sketchesConstruction administration during the build-out processHelp create and track purchase orders as neededAttend project meetings and site visitsAct as Studio’s liaison with vendors and contractors, including visits to project sites and vendor workrooms to check progress of fabrication and constructionCoordinate and assist with on-site project installationsManage or liaison with other office personnel, including project design team members, runners and interns 4-6 years experience in interior design, primarily hospitality-focusedBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or ArchitectureAutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite proficiencyExceptional communication skills3-D Sketch-Up / Rendering capabilities and Spanish speaking / communicating a plus

Venice, CA Studio Collective continues to grow rapidly with a significant number exciting new projects, and we seek team members who would like to join us in furthering this trajectory, working under Senior & Mid-Level Designers in a range of projects. Job Description: • Assist Project Design team with design planning and concepts thru all phases of the project development • Assist Project Design team with initial project presentations, both by computer and hand rendered • Assist Project Design team with interior design and interior construction drawings and sketches • Assist with both existing conditions and on-site project verification measurements and surveys during construction administration • Assist with on-site project installations and styling during photoshoots • Assist in the production of furniture designs and FF&E related drawings • Assist with and/or develop 3-D Sketch-Up drawings and interior perspectives for spatial exploration • Source unique materials and find inspiring imagery and concept ideas • Meet with vendors pertaining to architectural finishes and other construction related goods and materials • Help with any inter-office tasks large or small for Senior Design managers and partners as needed • Work with Interns to oversee and manage the materials library. Qualifications: • 1-2 years’ experience in interior design and/or architecture.
