We are seeking a creative, passionate Mid-Level Interior Designer with the ability to wear several hats, work collaboratively with other designers and consultants, and most importantly, lead their own design projects with a sense of ownership, integrity and responsibility
Role Description
You will act as a project designer working under the Principal(s) and/or Senior Designer's creative direction. Success in this role requires a minimum of 3-6 years hospitality-specific experience. Strong FF&E experience is a plus.
Day-to-day your job responsibilities will include:
Co-management of project design team deliverables with project presentations (computer and hand rendered) under direction of senior designerFrequent communication with project team, clients, consultants, vendors and contractorsBudget creation, ordering, expediting, and schedulingSample procurement, purchase order issuance and trackingCreation of FF&E spec booksInterior project drawing sets and sketchesConstruction administration during the build-out processHelp create and track purchase orders as neededAttend project meetings and site visitsAct as Studio’s liaison with vendors and contractors, including visits to project sites and vendor workrooms to check progress of fabrication and constructionCoordinate and assist with on-site project installationsManage or liaison with other office personnel, including project design team members, runners and interns
Qualifications
4-6 years experience in interior design, primarily hospitality-focusedBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or ArchitectureAutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite proficiencyExceptional communication skills3-D Sketch-Up / Rendering capabilities and Spanish speaking / communicating a plus

Salary Range
$75,000 - $85,000/yr
