INTERIOR DESIGNER - JUNIOR LEVEL - HOSPITALITY Venice, CA STUDIO COLLECTIVE, an award-winning boutique design agency in the heart of Venice, CA, excels in crafting coveted hospitality destinations throughout the United States and around the globe. We are seeking a designer to join our team! Studio Collective continues to grow rapidly with a significant number exciting new projects, and we seek team members who would like to join us in furthering this trajectory, working under Senior & Mid-Level Designers in a range of projects. This role is an opportunity for you to grow in parallel with our practice, with significant opportunity for advancement, and to do so in a highly collaborative, supportive studio environment.  Job Description: • Assist Project Design team with design planning and concepts thru all phases of the project development • Assist Project Design team with initial project presentations, both by computer and hand rendered • Assist Project Design team with interior design and interior construction drawings and sketches • Assist with both existing conditions and on-site project verification measurements and surveys during construction administration • Assist with on-site project installations and styling during photoshoots • Assist in the production of furniture designs and FF&E related drawings • Assist with and/or develop 3-D Sketch-Up drawings and interior perspectives for spatial exploration • Source unique materials and find inspiring imagery and concept ideas • Meet with vendors pertaining to architectural finishes and other construction related goods and materials • Help with any inter-office tasks large or small for Senior Design managers and partners as needed • Work with Interns to oversee and manage the materials library. Qualifications: • 1-2 years’ experience in interior design and/or architecture. Experience in commercial hospitality projects a plus+ . • Completion of a professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field. • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, rendering & graphics software; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. • Spanish speaking / communicating a PLUS + Benefits: • Competitive Salary commensurate with experience • Full health benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision) • Two weeks paid vacation, which increases with tenure • Flexible work week schedule • 401-K Savings Plan • Quarterly team building trips and educational functions • A true collaborative design studio experience, where all ideas are welcome, and everyone is encouraged to contribute to the design process, regardless of experience or position Note this is a full-time position located onsite in Venice, CA.
