We specialize in luxury custom homes, remodels, additions, and boutique developments, while also maintaining experience in commercial and civic work. Role Description – Full-Time Residential Designer Daily responsibilities include: • Developing schematic designs, design development, and construction documents • Creating 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials • Coordinating with clients, consultants, and builders • Assisting in managing project timelines, deliverables, and revisions • Supporting permitting and ensuring compliance with applicable building codes • Qualifications • Proficiency in Revit (required) and familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar tools • Strong residential design sensibility with an eye for detail, proportion, and materiality • Ability to produce high-quality construction documents and coordinate with consultants • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, builders, and team members • Working knowledge of residential building codes and construction methods • Experience in custom residential design (luxury experience preferred) • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or related field • Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus, but not required • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (office + remote) • What We’re Really Looking For (Onyx Fit) • Someone who cares deeply about design, not just drafting • Someone who can think like a builder, not just an architect • Someone who takes ownership and can run with residential projects • Someone who wants to grow into a larger role as the firm expands into design-build and development

As our project load expands and our team takes on increasingly complex work, we’re looking for a high-level Revit drafter / production specialist someone who thrives in the details, takes pride in clean, coordinated drawings, and knows how to turn design intent into well-built documents. This role is ideal for someone who loves the craft of documentation, understands how buildings go together, and can confidently move a set of drawings from concept through construction. Job Description: • Provides design support to project team members, including drawing plans, elevations and details, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design, furniture layouts, ergonomic dimensions, finish plans, color plans and schedules. • Assists in preparation of interior construction contract documents, including plans, details, sections and schedules. • Oversees the interior design for the firm.
