Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team at the Onyx Design Collective. About Us Our design firm specializes in creating innovative, one-of-a-kind architectural projects. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional designs that exceed client expectations. Your Role As an Interior Designer, you will play a lead role in the design and development of multiple residential and commercial projects. Your key responsibilities will include: • Assisting in the design, detailing, and oversight of projects • Collaborating with the Design Principal, contractors, and clients to ensure project success • Completing red lines, developing plans, interior elevations, finish schedules, and fixture schedules • Providing design support to project team members, including drawing plans, elevations, and details • Applying basic elements and principles of design, including form, scale, color, texture, pattern, light, balance, and proportion Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: • A professional degree in Interior Design or a related discipline • Basic understanding of interior design theory, applications, and construction documentation production • Knowledge of CAD, Revit, and SketchUp • A background in high-end/custom homes, restaurants, multifamily, civic, and office spaces Work Environment You will work directly with the Design Principal, contractors, and clients, and will be required to visit our Kaysville Office and sites located throughout Northern Utah.
