Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Schaumburg, IL, for an Interior Design Project Manager. The individual will oversee interior design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, design development, and collaboration with clients and teams. Qualifications Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design, with a strong sense of design aestheticsProficiency in Project Management, including budget and schedule oversightExperience with Construction Drawings and technical documentationKnowledge of Furniture selection and sourcing for commercial or residential projectsStrong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teamsProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar toolsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related fieldKnowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus

• Employee must develop a working knowledge of design specific software programs used in the performance of their job responsibilities including AutoCAD and CAP and such other software programs as may be used in the performance of duties as a professional designer. Working knowledge should include but... not be limited to approved manufacturer product design and application, product specification and technical specifications. • Employee must develop an understanding of applicable codes, ordinances and regulations governing the design and installation of the specific product lines represented . • Employee must develop an understanding of the design process and all practical and technical aspects of each step in the process including but not limited to: Project Documentation • Employee must become competent in the creation and delivery of professional design presentations to end users and interior design and architectural firms.
