Senior Interior Designer - Interior Design Project Manager

Hillsman, established in 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia, is renowned for completing interior design projects for leading institutions in the US. • Oversee the project design and ensure that the design fits with the client’s expectations • Select all furnishings and finishes for approval by the principal-in-charge • Maintain the project’s overall design direction and aesthetic • Manage the delivery of the project, schedule, and budget • Manage, train, and mentor design staff • Oversee installation and contract administration • Prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc. • Initiate and/or develop design intent and goals • Monitor progress to determine project phasing and participate in contract administration • Build successful client relationships • Prepare proposal request • Establish and maintain project contact database • Initiate client meetings, draft/publish, and distribute meeting minutes • Review and coordinate specifications • Manage the FF&E budget, selection, presentation & specification of commercial furnishings, art & accessories. • Should have the ability to travel 10-20%. • Must be a team player with the ability to supervise creative and administrative talent.
