Responsibilities for this Position Position Title: Fall 2026 - Interior Design Collegiate Intern Fall 2026 - Interior Design Collegiate Intern in GAC Savannah Provide effective assistance with presentations (sample boards, renderings, drawings) of aircraft design concepts incorporating customer requirements to achieve marketing objectives and to meet all FAA requirementsInterface with interior design to develop effective presentations for aircraft refurbishments and/or completions.Assist in coordinating all fabric material inquiries and reserves to check for availability for assigned aircraftOrganize, prepare, distribute and file materials and data to help establish and maintain effective communication and information systems within the design department.Support completion design as required.Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet, and leather techniques.Knowledge of Microsoft Office software. • Assist with status of production of design drawings, material selections and product development to GACs engineering and production departments in a timely manner for completion of contracts to ensure that delivery schedules are met with accuracy. • Support customer completions to produce, maintain, and archive the specification and design package with supervision. • Troubleshoot design related issues with other Designers and internal departments. Nice-to-haves • Experience in aircraft interior design or related field preferred. • Knowledge of FAA regulations relating to interior finish requirements preferred.
