During this internship you will be able to apply your skills related to color theory, space planning and project management. Successful candidates can prioritize their work, apply time management strategies and find new and innovative ways to make a difference in their role. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Provide effective assistance with presentations (sample boards, renderings, drawings) of aircraft design concepts incorporating customer requirements to achieve marketing objectives and to meet all FAA requirementsInterface with interior design to develop effective presentations for aircraft refurbishments and/or completions.Assist in coordinating all fabric material inquiries and reserves to check for availability for assigned aircraftOrganize, prepare, distribute and file materials and data to help establish and maintain effective communication and information systems within the design department.Support completion design as required.Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet, and leather techniques.Knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Additional Functions Time management, space planning, self-starter, ability to work without constant oversight. Maintain organization and cleanliness of sample library Preferred Skills Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet and leather techniques.Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Other Requirements: Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelors degree or higher. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume. Rotation Requirements: Juniors 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students 1 rotation. Minimum duration: 1214 weeks (summer); 1416 weeks (spring and fall). Must be onsite; this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation.
