Senior Interior Designer
HouseLift Design
We’re looking for a Senior Interior Designer who already knows how to lead at a high level—someone who doesn’t need hand-holding, takes ownership naturally, and can step in and run with complex, high-end projects. This is not a “grow into it” role. You’ll work directly with our Owner and Creative Director and be the person keeping projects moving, clients confident, and the design team aligned. Running full-service residential projects from concept through final design development—large-scale renovations, custom home builds, and full-home furnishing projects Leading client communication: presentations, decisions, problem-solving, and keeping things on track Working closely with HouseLift’s Project Managers and trade partners to ensure all design details are fully resolved and aligned ahead of implementation Creating and overseeing drawings, selections, and specifications so everything is clear, complete, and ready to be carried out Directing the design team day-to-day—reviewing work, giving feedback, and maintaining a high level of quality Sourcing materials, finishes, furnishings, and custom elements that align with HouseLift’s brand Keeping multiple projects moving simultaneously without losing momentum A degree in Interior Design or Architecture 5+ years of interior design experience At least 3 full years in high-end residential (large scale renovation and/or custom home build projects) At least 1 full year already working as a Senior Interior Designer at a luxury residential design firm A portfolio that clearly shows projects you personally led from start to finish Strong client presence—you’re comfortable leading conversations, making decisions, and managing expectations Experience managing and directing other designers A solid understanding of the full process—from design concepts, to detailed design plans to construction documents to final install and project completion Proficiency in Revit Must be based in Atlanta area or willing to relocate—our studio is located in Marietta.
