Workplace Strategy and Interior Design Specialist | Prestigious Manhattan-Based Investment Firm SUMMARY: A prestigious Manhattan-based investment firm is seeking a seasoned professional to join its Administrative Services division as a Workplace Strategy and Interior Planning Specialist. This individual will play a key role in shaping, organizing, and scaling the company’s physical office environments. This opportunity offers meaningful work within a collaborative and inclusive team setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead initiatives related to space design and planning, ensure compliance with internal workspace standards, manage office enhancements and expansion efforts, and maintain up-to-date records within the firm’s space management platform. • Create and refine floor plans in partnership with the Human Capital team, supporting decision-making around seating assignments, occupancy levels, and meeting room utilization. • Compile and interpret data related to space usage and projected growth, organize and execute periodic building walkthroughs, and resolve space-related inquiries from internal stakeholders. • Contribute to in-house design efforts and assist external design consultants with the development of new office locations. • Coordinate closely with internal departments, external vendors, and contractors to gather and integrate project requirements, ensuring the successful delivery of workplace initiatives. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE: • Eight to ten years of experience in space design, interior planning, workplace programming, facility planning, or project management. • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, urban planning, or a related discipline is required. • Solid understanding of design principles, architectural documentation, construction practices, material specifications, ADA regulations, and code compliance. Familiarity with furniture systems, finish selections, color theory, and procurement processes is also important. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and collaborate effectively across teams. • Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT, CAFM systems, FM:Systems, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is strongly preferred. • The role suits a strategic, detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. • The anticipated salary range for this role is $120,000 to $170,000 per year.
