About this role

Lead Interior Designer We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead our design projects from concept through construction, and manage client relationships effectively. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in large-scale commercial and workplace interiors. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions that meet client needs. Key responsibilities include: • Leading design projects from concept through construction, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. • Managing and developing strong client relationships to understand their needs and preferences. • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative design solutions. • Ensuring designs comply with building codes, ADA requirements, and sustainability standards. • Developing space planning, finish selection, and design documentation to meet client expectations. Requirements for the position include: Essential Skills: • 10 years of experience in interior design, particularly in corporate commercial and workplace projects exceeding 200,000 sq ft. • NCIDQ certification is required. • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Deltek Vision. • Strong abilities in space planning, finish selection, and design documentation. • Experience in building codes, ADA compliance, and sustainable design. • Capability to lead projects across all phases, including conceptual and technical design. Additional Qualifications: • NCARB preferred for Registered Architects. • Accreditation in sustainable design practices is preferred.
