University Faculty Interior Design

Job Description This is a full-time faculty position starting January 1, 2026 that can be filled as an Instructor or tenure-track Assistant Professor depending on candidate qualifications. The person hired must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Northern Utah area as a frequent on-campus presence is required. Selected individuals will develop and teach a variety of courses in the interior design program, participate in service to the Program, Department, as well as College and University. This position may have the requirement of helping with development, advising and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Required: Master’s degree or equivalent or currently enrolled in master’s degree program seeking degree in ID, Architecture, Interior Architecture, Fine Arts, Education, or equivalent Design-Build degree. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from accredited institution. NCIDQ certification. Current practicing professional in interior design and/or architecture. Teaching experience at university level. Preferred Qualifications Preferred: Relevant Design-Build certifications (e.g. LEED , WELL , AIP , AIA . etc.) Relevant technology certifications
