Store Interior Design Associate

IKEA Baltimore is looking for a Store Interior Design Associate to join their team! This is a full time, benefits eligible, position! This position starts at $19.19/hr. and weekend availability is required... We might be an awesome match if: • Working in a fun and energetic environment makes you excited! • Providing service to our customers that makes them say I LOVE IKEA excites you… • You aren’t looking for a Monday thru Friday job where you are at a computer all day… We are busy always (especially on the weekends), making it easy for our customers to feel welcomed and inspired Daily Responsibilities include: • Leveraging interior design knowledge and experience to execute room settings, vignettes, and sales support areas • Executing the showroom vision to reflect a wide variety of styles, price points and living situations • Implementing department action plans to grow the business and increase profitability • Using creative approach to solve home furnishing challenges that exist in the local market • Utilizing interior design tools to ensure simplicity, cost-effectiveness and efficiency in store design • Remaining up-to-date and knowledgeable about current home furnishing and interior design trends • Securing an impression of new and inspiring solutions to meet the demands of our customers Previous Experience: • 2 years interior design or similar experiance • Proficient in Adobe, AutoCad, Revit Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.19 - $27.29 per hour Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
