Job Description
Our client is seeking Sr. Interior Designers to join their Healthcare and Venues teams in Orlando. The Sr. Interior Designer is responsible for delivering exceptional design and delivery for clients on time and on budget.
Hard Skills
- Licensed Architect with 8 years of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or education projects
- Ability to lead team in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail problems
- Experience in preparing and reviewing detailed implementation document sets (interior plans, fixture plans, elevations, details)
- Competence in managing client expectations, team communications, and consultant coordination
- Capability to generate project documents and schedules, manage finances, and keep the project on schedule
- Proficiency in developing cost estimates for design proposals
- Expertise in FF&E sourcing, selection, custom design, and specification
Soft Skills
- Creative thinking to achieve innovative solutions
- Strong client relationship building and strengthening
- Effective conflict management and encouraging a healthy team environment
- Investment in professional development of staff through mentoring and motivating
- Ability to develop, recognize, recruit, and grow diverse talent
- Active collaboration in managing projects to meet budget and schedule requirements while delivering quality work
- Participation and leadership in team meetings to discuss project and technical issues
