Slab Sales Associate Job Summary Earth Elements seeks a dynamic, energetic, and passionate Slab Sales Associate to join our team and assist in sales and building client relationships. The position will be responsible for working with clients through the sales process. Essential Job Functions Every effort has been made to make the job description as complete as possible. Responsibilities Include: • Establishing new accounts • Helping Clients in the showroom • Creating estimates and bids • Following up on sales inquiries • Showroom display presentation • Skills and Experience: • Associate’s degree, required • Bachelor’s degree, preferred • Degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, preferred • 2-3 years’ experience in the Sales Industry, required • Experience in Natural and Engineered Stone Sales, preferred • Proficient in reading architectural plans • Experience in Salesforce, CounterGo, JobTracker, & E-Take Off • Strong work ethic and ability to work with fast paced team • Able to multi-task meet deadlines and follow through on projects to completion Competencies • Communication Proficiency • Results driving • Organizational Skills • Initiative/Self starter • Customer/Client Focus • Technical Capacity • Multi-Tasking Work Environment This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc. Primarily inside in well-lighted, well-ventilated areas, but can at times be outside in external environments. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a sedentary role; however, lifting of approximately 25 pounds with occasional lifting of small objects and samples; sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and finger dexterity. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40+ hours per week. Travel Travel is primarily local, up to 1 hour driving distance during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, per insurance eligibility requirements.
