Showroom Designer

Aspenhome/Furniture Values Int'l, LLC (FVI) is looking for an Independent Showroom Designer! The Showroom Designer works with Product Merchandiser and Sales to manage the showroom design and execution to include floor plans, color plans, props and set up. Responsible for staging and arranging all photography of showrooms. Collaborate with the marketing team on showroom and silo... photography. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Showroom design and execution: o Floor plans o Color plans o Props, Bedding & Other Accessories: purchase / inventory maintenance o Set-up • Helps to coordinate and manage labor for set up and projects. o Contracts vendors to perform structural, electrical, and plumbing upgrades to showroom space. o Works with Contractors and Building Managers to understand building regulations and obtain necessary building permits. • High Point showroom: Spring Premarket, Spring Market, Fall Premarket, Fall Market • Las Vegas showroom: Winter Market, Summer Market Photography: o Prop all silo photography taken in HP showroom studio o Design/set showroom beauty photography for catalogs o Helps to oversee design of studio beauty photography Logistics o Helps to manage the logistics of moving and disposal of showroom merchandise. Preferred Skills & Abilities: • Able to provide direction without a direct reporting relationship • Detail-oriented with excellent problem solving and organizational skills • Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics • Self-starter, works independently, multi-tasks, thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Communication skills (both verbal and written) • AutoCAD proficiency a plus Preferred Education & Experience: • BS in Interior Design or Home Furnishings Marketing desired. • 3+ years in Showroom/Interior Design Job Type: Contract Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Ability to Relocate: • High Point, NC 27260: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
