About the role As a Senior Interior Designer this position is responsible for providing project guidance to assigned interior designers based on the WRAs design process. Requirements Responsibilities Coordinate with Project Coordinator/Manager (PM) and Design Lead (DL) on overall design of project. Main contact for interior design in the project. Skill Set · Must have a good working sense of form, space, order, and context · Ability to teach, mentor and train our team · Ability to work through and present multiple solutions · Ability to produce and develop a concept · Will collaborate with product vendors and other industry leaders to stay on top of current trends and new materials Reports Senior Interior Designer will report to Project Principal-In-Charge (PIC), Project Coordinator/Manager (PM), and Design Lead (DL). Continuing Education/ Expertise/ Leadership This role must possess a Bachelors degree in Interior Design. Minimum of two years experience working in an Architectural firm. Participate in seminars, conventions, trade shows & organizations relevant to Interior Design, Architecture and School Design (NCIDQ, AIA seminars) in order to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and techniques.
