Candidates are preferred to have 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience and must have a four-year interior design degree from an accredited design school. 3-5 years experience in high-end residential design that includes both ground up construction and full-scale renovations is preferred.
Job Requirements
· Familiarity with all levels of interior design; from conceptualization and specification to project organization, on-site project visits, installation, punchlists, and ongoing post-installation maintenance
· Work directly with the principal and design studio director to help lead client meetings and presentations
· Oversee process of gathering quotes and creating accurate client proposals
· Source furniture, fabrics, fixtures and finishes in line with client needs and establish budget guidelines
· Lead design development calls and meetings with architects, contractors and sub-contractors and outside vendors
· Possess a high taste level and knowledge of high-end furnishings and furnishings vendors
· Excellent communication, strong leadership and organizational skills required
· Strong attention to detail, desire to take ownership of their projects.
· Self-starter, motivated, organized, and diligent
· Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced, busy and creative atmosphere, as well as anticipate, troubleshoot and navigate any design or construction issue
· Four years of professional experience working in AutoCad, concentrated in space planning, furniture plans, and elevations
· Additional knowledge/experience in design software, including but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Microsoft Office Suite, & Studio Designer
· 3-5 years’ experience in high-end residential design project management experience that includes both ground up construction and full-scale renovations
· Experience with industry professionals and vendors, a must
· Knowledge of design showrooms and dealers both locally in NYC and internationally preferred
· Candidate must be able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
· This is a full-time 100% in-person role, Monday – Friday

Salary Range
$90,000- $120,000
