We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our team and work on residential and commercial projects. The candidate should have design experience on high-end residential projects, and / or commercial projects where he/she was involved in all phases of the interior design process.
The ideal candidate would be a gifted designer who is organized and able to vision and manage parts of a project.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Updating and maintaining Furniture + IA plans in AutoCAD
• Pricing out of all selections, vendor correspondence, all sample requests and returns
• Sourcing of furniture, lighting and fabrics and finishes
• Creating, updating and Maintaining Elevations in CAD, including Rendered elevations
• Working with Senior Designer and Design Principal to prepare client presentations
• Maintaining and managing project budgets and timelines and overall day to day project needs and expectations
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum 4 to 6 years' experience
• Professional Degree in Interior Design or related field
• Be able to showcase finished work in your portfolio and discuss what your role was
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sheets, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop, Sketchup or Rhino, Programa (this is a plus but not mandatory)
• Passionate, self-motivated designer, able to take direction easily and collaborative mindset
• Ability to work in a team and manage yourself, your time and be well organized
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals involved in the project to ensure seamless execution.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and make necessary adjustments or recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies related to interior design.
• Drivers license and transportation required
Salary/Benefits
Company offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Holiday pay, sick time and a week off between Christmas and New Years, and Health & Transportation reimbursements.
Location + Hours
Looking for someone with at least 4 to 6 years of experience. The contract is for 6 months. Hours will range from 20 to 36 per week - the person should be flexible to work up to 36 hours if needed, but the minimum is 20.
They strongly prefer someone based in the Bay Area
someone who can work in person at the office 1-2 times a week and the person needs to be available for occasional in-person client meetings, site visits, and trips to local showrooms when needed.
