Our fast-paced, client-focused design firm is seeking a reliable, organized, and solutions-oriented Mid-Level Interior Designer to contribute to the design and execution of various projects. The Mid-Level Interior Designer will work collaboratively with senior designers and the Principal, assisting with design development, client communication, and project implementation. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to ensure successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-driven individual with a passion for design, eager to grow and contribute within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate on the development of design concepts, schematic designs, and design development phases.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including meeting notes, punch lists, and correspondence.
• Create drawings, finish schedules, and specification books required for permitting, design development, and construction documents.
• Produce mood boards, sketches, and presentation materials to support design intent.
• Assist with the selection of architectural finishes, materials, and furnishings in line with project goals and client expectations.
• Support the management of project schedules and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
• Contribute to creating and managing client furnishings budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial constraints.
• Assist with digital and physical presentations for client meetings and design reviews.
• Provide support to the design team to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in residential interior design.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and finishes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey design ideas effectively.
• Highly detail-oriented and committed to producing accurate deliverables.
• Team-oriented individual with strong relationship-management skills.
• Exceptional time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Creative problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Mac OS, and Google Sheets
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
