Working within INTERIORS HOME guidelines and processes, the Sales Consultant greets customers in the showroom, determines needs and goals, and assists in the selection of both inventoried and custom furnishings and accessories. The consultant creates a positive customer experience through completing all sales/order documentation, tracking orders and communicating with customers throughout the entire process and troubleshooting obstacles. The successful candidate will bring to the position: • High school diploma or equivalent; • Minimum of one (1) year full time active sales experience in a retail setting; • Strong observational and listening skills; • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills; • Negotiation, persuasion and relationship building abilities; • Desire to learn and improve; • Enthusiasm; • Attention to detail.
