Sales Associate - Interior & Exterior Lighting

Integrity only a family business can provide. Job Summary: We are seeking an entry level Sales Associate to join our dynamic Lighting Showroom team. This role involves maintaining knowledge of showroom products, applications and pricing including new product development that is given during training opportunities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate essential communication skills, a passion for delivering excellent customer experience and maintain accurate customer records. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Meets with customers in the Lighting Design Center. Process all showroom product orders, including telephone orders, accurately and promptly. Maintain customer orders and advise back orders etc. · Maintains effective showroom displays and promotions · Collaborate on lighting designs and implements merchandising and display of showroom products within the Lighting Design Center · Investigates customer complaints, and takes corrective action as required. Report all customer complaints and any corrective action taken to supervisor · Maintains accurate records of requested items that are not in stock and recommends additions to inventory to supervisor · Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized showroom · Assists with duties associated with the functions for the Lighting Design Center as directed by supervisor Experience and Education Requirements: · High School Diploma or GED · Essential customer service, communication and listening skills · Product and application knowledge, including ability to read and interpret manufacturer catalogs and lighting layouts · Proficiency in entering orders, utilization of software system · Ability to perform basic mathematical calculation required (i.e. discounts, markups, price levels) Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications: · Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines · PC proficient and utilization of Microsoft Office applications · Knowledge of proper operational procedures Physical Requirements: · Be able to lift up to 30lbs · Bend, kneel and sit for short and long periods of time Additional Info: · First shift hours · Comprehensive benefits package options including paid holidays, vacations and 401(k) Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
