Sales Associate – Fine Furniture & Interior Design Showroom

Position Overview Bay Design Store is looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our luxury furniture and interior design showroom. The ideal candidate enjoys working with clients, understands quality furniture, and has the ability to guide customers through the selection and purchasing process. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping clients create beautiful spaces. Responsibilities • Assist customers in selecting furniture, lighting, accessories, and décor • Provide product knowledge and guidance on styles, materials, and finishes • Maintain strong relationships with clients and follow up on sales opportunities • Work closely with interior designers on client projects when required • Prepare sales orders and assist with order tracking • Maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards • Support promotional events and sales initiatives • Ensure a high level of professionalism and customer service Qualifications • Previous retail sales experience preferred (furniture, design, or luxury retail a plus) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to build relationships with clients • Professional appearance and attitude • Organized and detail-oriented • Basic computer skills for order entry and sales systems Preferred Experience • Furniture or interior design showroom sales • Commission-based sales environment • Experience with custom furniture orders Compensation • Base salary plus commission opportunities • Potential for performance bonuses Work Schedule • Full-time or part-time positions available • Weekend availability required Work Location: In person
