Retail Showroom looking for team addition who can take the ball and run with it.
Established Interior Design showroom is seeking the right personality with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and facility for troubleshooting. Must be prepared for an active and fast-paced work environment. Expect routine engagement with management as this is a small business and training will be involved but also paced over time in order to gauge your strong suits and contribution.
Expectations of the role will be that the applicant is interested in a growth trajectory, attune to how they can take ownership over responsibilities and make things happen. We have many resources to tap into and are excited to have a creative mind on hand to help us brainstorm new ways to reach and cater to an existing, amazing client and customer base. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Communicating with vendors, meeting sales reps and developing strong product knowledge
• Support for showroom events and candle parties
• Sales engagement with customers
• Inventory management, support to the retail manager with merchandising and showroom upkeep
• Admin support for firm including vendor follow up on orders, RGA troubleshooting, and checking in product orders
• Developing working knowledge of opportunities to sell and capitalizing on engagement with customers
• Resource organization and resource room upkeep
• Tasks to help management navigate product research, vendor correspondence
• Deliveries and support for project installs and photoshoots
• Answering phones and helping retail customers
Minimum requirements -
• At least 2 years retail experience preferred. Experience in home furnishings & design preferred.
• Familiarity with vendor relationships and order management required.
• Ability to take constructive criticism and utilize them as opportunities to grow will be necessary
• Willingness to take ownership over the role and show up ready to dig is key
• Must be savvy with using Microsoft Office suite, have good communication skills and the ability to craft an email. Experience working with Quickbooks and Dropbox a plus.
• Minimum education required bachelor's degree or 3 years work experience in a related field.
• Preferably hiring for a full time position.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
