Residential Interior Design Business Director

Job Title: A Residential Trade Leader position is available to grow and lead our interior design trade business within our Gallery. About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven individual with proven ability to motivate, influence, and inspire a team. The ideal candidate has superior organization and leadership skills, exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and a commitment to Quality with exceptional attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: • Growing and leading the interior design trade business within the Gallery • BUILDING AN EFFECTIVE AND SUCCESSFUL TEAM DEDICATED TO SERVICING THE INTERIOR DESIGN TRADE • Developing strategies for the trade business in partnership with the Gallery Leader • Laying out multiple trade projects of varying size and scope • LEARNING AND COMMUNICATING THE RH DESIGN POINT OF VIEW AND PRODUCT ASSORTMENT • Representing the company at design community events and through consistent networking • Maintaining current on all local and global design publications and industry trends • Supporting the growing trade business in other galleries by sharing learning and best practices Requirements: • 5 years experience in a high-end interior design showroom or similar luxury setting • Results-driven with proven ability to motivate, influence, and inspire a team • Superior organization and leadership skills • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Experience gaining insights from mistakes, seeking constructive feedback from colleagues and leaders to improve results • Commitment to Quality with exceptional attention to detail • Proficiency with Mac Operating System, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications • Ability to read and understand floor plans • Clean driving record (MVR) and current driver's license • Ability to travel locally and out of state Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items, up to lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques • Ability to maneuver effectively around Gallery floor, stock room, and office • Prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing
