Residential Interior Designer - Remodeling

Overview We're seeking an experienced remodeling interior designer who enjoys working directly with homeowners and creating practical, buildable designs to join our team full-time. You’ll work directly with homeowners to turn their ideas into practical, attractive, and buildable designs for kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodels, and additions. Responsibilities Meet with homeowners to understand project goals and requirements Develop design concepts for residential remodeling projects Create and revise plans using Chief Architect and 2020 Design or similar software Prepare floor plans, elevations, renderings, and cabinet layouts Assist clients with material, fixture, cabinet, and finish selections in our showroom Incorporate client feedback and revisions throughout the design process Participate in project estimating and help develop scopes of work and material quantities Assist in sales efforts by presenting design proposals confidently and explaining the benefits of various remodeling options. Coordinate with the project development and construction teams Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Required Qualifications: Experience designing residential remodeling projects Proficiency with Chief Architect or similar software Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Understanding of residential remodeling practices Reliable transportation for occasional local meetings and site visits Preferred: Qualifications: Kitchen and bath design experience Design-build remodeling experience Experience using 2020 Design to create cabinet layouts NKBA certification or related design credentials Compensation Competitive hourly compensation and bonuses based on experience and performance Potential for long-term growth within the company To Apply Please submit: Resume Portfolio or project examples (if available) Brief description of your experience with Chief Architect, 2020 Design or similar software Desired hourly rate Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
