MBI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered interior Designer with a strong portfolio and at least eight years of profession.al experience. The ideal candidate will lead projects from concept through completion, mentor junior staff, and collaborate closely with clients and assigned project teams to deliver high-quality, innovative interior environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple interior architecture and interior design projects, from initial concept through design development, documentation and execution. Collaborate with clients to unde rstand their vision, needs, budget, translatingthem into creative and functional design solutions. Produce detailed drawings, material boards, and specifications using tools such Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk Products, Sketch Up, or similar software. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is maintained. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring all work aligns with client expectations and MBi Companies, inc. standards. Mentor and supervise junior designers, providing guidance on design, documentation, and professional development. Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices. Qualifications Minimum BS degree Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA accredited program. Registered Interior Designer with NCIDQ certification. Minimum 8 years of professional experience in interior design, with a proven track record in commercial projects. Strong conceptual design and space planning skills. Solid understanding of building codes, accessibility codes, and construction practices. Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools. Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
