Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing residential remodeling projects from contract signing through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, on scope, and at company quality standards.
The PM is the operational leader in the field and coordinates crews, subcontractors, materials, inspections, and client updates.
This is not a desk-only role — it is an active field leadership position.
Primary ResponsibilitiesProject Execution
• Manage multiple residential remodeling projects simultaneously
• Oversee daily site progress
• Ensure scope compliance and specification accuracy
• Enforce quality standards and installation best practices
• Conduct milestone inspections
Scheduling & Coordination
• Build and manage project timelines
• Coordinate subcontractors and crews
• Ensure trade sequencing efficiency
• Prevent downtime due to scheduling gaps
Material & Vendor Control
• Verify materials are ordered and delivered on time
• Confirm selections match approved specs
• Coordinate vendor deliveries
• Resolve supply issues quickly
Budget & Margin Protection
• Monitor job costs vs estimates
• Flag cost overruns early
• Ensure change orders are documented and approved
• Protect project margin discipline
Client Communication
• Conduct scheduled client site meetings
• Provide progress updates
• Manage expectations
• Resolve field issues professionally
Documentation
• Maintain daily site logs
• Record change orders
• Upload field photos
• Complete inspection checklists
• Close punchlists
Success Metrics (KPIs)
• Schedule adherence ≥ 90%
• Rework rate < 5%
• Change orders captured 100%
• Client satisfaction ≥ 9/10

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years residential remodeling or construction project management
• Strong knowledge of remodeling trades
• Experience managing subcontractors
• Ability to read plans and scopes
• Scheduling experience
• Budget awareness
• Strong field leadership presence
• Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
