About this role
The Studio Holly Gagne Interior Design is a residential design studio In
Rowley, MA with projects locations spanning from Boston up to Maine, where we
also operate retail storefront. We have been recipients of BONs awards for the
past 5 consecutive years. Our project scopes range from large renovations to
whole home new builds. HGID offers a highly customized full-service interior
design package. We manage the design from concept development to procurement
of goods, through to final installations. The Job The Project Coordinator is a
critical role for HGID, working in continuous collaboration with Partners,
Staff, Clients & Vendors. This is a full-time position based in our studio,
located in a historic barn in Rowley, MA. The Project Coordinator plays a
critical role in our team, managing the procurement, purchasing and
installation phases of all design projects as well the procurement & managing
of stock for our retail shop located in Camden, ME. They will also oversee
studio the organization and maintenance of our studio/office. The Project
Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Operations with daily
coordination and communications with the entire Design Team. This position
requires excellent computer skills (MAC based office) as well as exemplary
administrative, organizational & communication skills. Ideal candidate must
have the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Demonstrated Skills – • Must have 3 -5 years of solid administrative
experience in a fast-paced setting • Must be highly computer proficient –
Microsoft Office Suite – must be extremely proficient in Excel and Word •
Ability to communicate confidently, effectively and professionally with people
at all levels • Ability to multi-task, collaborate on teams of varying size,
and work well under deadlines • Ability to thrive independently, and work in a
collaborative, open environment • Ability to solve problems creatively • High
comfort level dealing with clients, vendors, and trade professionals • Must be
self-motivated Desired but not Required – • Prior experience working in the
Interior Design Industry in a similar capacity • Knowledge of Design Manager
or other design firm management software • Experienced in customer and vendor
