Job Description - A growing New York City based Architectural / Decorative
Interior Design Showroom seeks to hire a full time, in-office Office
Assistant. We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the
organization and running of the daily administrative and accounting operations
of the company. The Assistant will help with the showroom’s administrative and
accounting tasks which would include but are not limited to the following:
assisting the finance manager with Accounts Payable and Receivable tasks, data
entry and assisting in the office's day to day operations. Responsibilities -
Assisting the Finance manager with day to day accounting tasks. Data entry
related to inputting vendor invoices. Assist associates in ways that optimize
customer service procedures. Sort and distribute communications in a timely
manner. Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and
colleagues. Requirements - Experience as a back-office assistant, office
assistant, virtual assistant or in another relevant administrative role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Analytical abilities and
aptitude in problem-solving. Excellent written and verbal communication
skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Computer / Tech savvy.
