Non-CDL Transfer & Delivery Assistant/Furniture Mover

INTERIORS HOME is looking for a full time Non-CDL Transfer & Delivery Assistant/Furniture Mover to join our delivery team. The Transfer & Delivery Assistant helps in the loading and delivery, placement, assembly and removal of furnishings to and from the showrooms, distribution center, and customer homes. This position also participates in light maintenance and cleaning of the trucks. Based in Lancaster, the work schedule may be Monday through Friday 7:00-3:30, Tuesday through Saturday 7:00 - 3:30, or a hybrid schedule depending upon need. Occasional Sundays may be required. This is a safety sensitive position and requires a fit-for-duty examination, DOT physical and drug test prior to start date. The successful candidate will bring to the position: • Current PA drivers license with clean driving record; • Ability to lift, pull and push/shove 75 lbs. alone and 150 lbs with another individual; • Proficiency with basic hand and power tools; • Interest in acquiring and maintaining DOT certification.
