Marketing & Design Coordinator (Part-Time) ๐ New Orleans, Louisiana ๐ผ Confetti & Co Events + Confetti & Co Collective Confetti & Co is seeking a creative, detail-driven Marketing & Design Coordinator to support both our planning and rental brands. This role is ideal for someone who is highly visual, digitally savvy, and understands how to translate design-forward work into compelling, on-brand content. This is a part-time, hourly position (10โ30 hours/week) based in New Orleans. The Role You will be responsible for developing and executing our digital presence across platforms , while supporting our team in bringing design concepts to life visually. This role blends content strategy, social media management, and design execution , with a strong focus on capturing and showcasing our work in real time. Youโll work closely with our planning and design teams to ensure our brand is consistently represented in a way that feels elevated, cohesive, and current. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a monthly content calendar for both brands Create and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and website platforms Design on-brand graphics and marketing materials using Canva Create visual renderings and mockups for client-facing design presentations Collaborate with planners and designers to translate event concepts into visual content Maintain and update website content as needed Content Capture & Brand Presence Attend weddings and installations (as scheduled) to capture behind-the-scenes content Document both planning and rental installations for marketing use Capture photo and video content for social media, reels, and brand storytelling Attend networking events and represent the brand professionally Additional Responsibilities Curate and repurpose real wedding content for ongoing marketing use Assist with vendor tagging, relationship visibility, and cross-promotion Identify trends within the wedding and event industry and apply them strategically Support brand storytelling through captions, visuals, and campaign ideas Maintain a consistent, elevated brand voice across all platforms Qualifications Must be based in New Orleans, LA Strong experience with Canva (advanced level required, including design renderings) Experience with Adobe Suite or Illustrator is a strong plus Proven experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) Comfortable capturing photo and video content on-site Familiarity with website design and updates Strong visual eye and understanding of current design and wedding trends Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time independently Position Details Part-time (10โ30 hours per week) Hourly (non-salaried) Schedule will vary based on content needs, events, and workload Compensation $15โ$18 per hour , with rate determined based on experience and interview Who You Are You are creative, proactive, and highly detail-oriented. You have a strong sense of visual storytelling and understand how to create content that feels both intentional and elevated . You are comfortable working independently, while also representing the brand in both client-facing and industry settings.
