Manager: Furniture / Consignment / Design (commission)

Design Consignment Gallery is a small, locally owned business that is seeking a manager to train. We are a furniture consignment store that specializes in upscale furniture resale. We also sell a line of wallbeds in our showroom. We are seeking someone who is personable and friendly that has retail and/or customer service experience with some management experience. An interest in interior design, decorating, or furniture design is preferred. 1+ Year of Sales and Customer Service Experience is required. This full-time position requires assisting future consignors with the consignment process, handling sales transactions, space planning the showroom for new inventory, accepting or declining new consignment furniture via email or phone, checking items in, maintaining our website / social media accounts, setting the weekly schedule for the sales associates. Saturday availability is required, but we are very flexible with the schedule you would like to set. We are open 10-6pm daily Another part of the job is selling murphy-style, made-to-order beds from Wall Beds N More. You will sell earn a commission on each sale. You will be trained and become a wallbed expert in no time. Our current manager is seeking a candidate to train over the next 2 months, compensation is $20 per hour with commission for all store sales (Wallbeds included). Please send your resume to Makiah.
