Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable part-time Logistics Coordinator to manage the procurement, delivery, and installation for our interior design projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all furniture, materials, and accessories are delivered on schedule and in excellent condition. This job is for approximately 20 to 30 hours a week, with potential for up to 40 hours a week as needed. Must be open to hours that change daily, with hours starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 6pm.
Duties
• Maintain job sites, which includes cleaning and construction material removal.
• Must be able to assist with carrying furniture that weighs 300-400 pounds while also walking backwards or up and down stairs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and warehouse to inspect, store, and prepare goods for installation.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, trade partners, and design team.
• Ensure all items are delivered, placed, and installed according to the design plan.
• Document and report any issues, damages, or deficiencies for resolution.
• Assist in streamlining logistics processes for greater efficiency.
