Job Description
As a Senior Interior Designer experienced in Healthcare (HC) and Science & Technology (S&T) projects, you will collaborate with project teams to provide innovative solutions for unique challenges. The portfolio includes healthcare facilities, corporate headquarters, labs, museums, government facilities, higher education buildings, and infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities
• Work with HC and S&T Architectural and Interior Design teams to develop interior design direction, translating complex programming requirements into design solutions, focusing on patient and user experience.
• Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.
• Prioritize tasks and coordinate documentation completion from initial design phase through final project completion.
• Establish programming, client expectations of quality, and design goals for the project.
• Monitor project progress to verify consistency with established design goals and objectives, evaluating working relationships between client/project manager and team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Northern Impact seeks candidates with:
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Interior Design/Interior Architecture program or related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience at architecture and/or interior design firms with a strong design focus and orientation on HC and S&T projects.
• Professional licensure and/or certification required; LEED AP and EDAC strongly encouraged.
• Knowledge of interior design concepts, materials, and furnishing requirements specific to HC and S&T projects.
• Proficiency in Revit required; Experience with 3D visualization tools such as Enscape or SketchUp desired.
Estimated Salary: $120,000-$150,000 per year
