If you're a creative visionary with the skills to turn any space into a functional and fabulous masterpiece, we want you on our team! We're on the lookout for a top notch Interior Designer skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Chief Architect.
About US:
We are an established Eastside design-build firm, specializing in high-end residential bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom remodels and provide a full-service start-to-finish experience for our clients. Our office is located in Issaquah, while the majority of our work is all around the greater Seattle area.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for all stages of assigned projects including preliminary design, design development, material, color selections and specifications
• Conduct research and specify items and materials to meet the unique requirements of each project
• Create a project design schedule for use by clients and the team.
• Arrange and conduct client meetings on a regular basis, walking them through the entire design, contract, and remodeling phases. Select finishes, fixtures, materials, appliances, and other unique items for each job.
• Collaborate with subs, vendors, project coordinator, draftsman to bring visions to life
• Foster positive communications and relationships with clients and vendors/subs.
• Keep up to date on industry trends and developments.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• At least 7 years of demonstrated design experience with diverse project sizes and client bases. If you have fewer than 2 years of hands on experience please do no apply.
• Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment.
• Proficiency in Chief Architect, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar CAD software.
• Strong creative vision coupled with a practical understanding of construction.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach, capable of managing conflicts between decision-makers, aligning client desires with budget constraints, and maintaining client enthusiasm about the final outcome.
• Experience in a Design/Build environment is an advantage.
• A four-year degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field is highly preferred
