About this role
Hiring for positions in Modesto, Stockton & Sacramento Summary: Designers are
responsible for meeting with clients to discuss design for their kitchen or
bathroom remodel, They will produce the design and cabinet configuration,
choose appropriate cabinet styles, flooring, countertops, plumbing fixtures
and hardware, as well as provide ricing of the jobs to the clients. Designers
work closely with the contractors throughout the installation process. In
addition to this overview of job duties, other assignments or job duties may
be required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
(other duties may be assigned): Must be familiar with kitchen and bath design
trends, cutting edge products and product lines, and be able to incorporate
them into attractive and efficient room layouts. Must be able to build
relationships while educating clients on product trends and space planning.
Must be able to use persuasive selling skills to close cabinet sales and
suggest cabinet upgrades and accessories. Must be able to meet with clients in
their homes and in our showrooms to discuss remodeling their kitchen or
bathroom. Must be familiar with design programs, vendor pricing systems, and
understand the general characteristics of competitive pricing in our local
marketplace in order to effectively close dales to a wide variety of
clientele. Must be able to compile a complete list of materials needed in
order to complete the project and prep for the production team. Must maintain
accurate documentation of sales activity and project designs; document the
sales process and maintain customer records in the system. Must utilize all
resources provided for supporting the contractors in the field. Must follow
best practices and performance standards to meet business objectives and
goals. Essential Education, Skills and Experience: 2 - 4-year degree in
Kitchen and Bath Design, Interior Design, or equivalent experience Strong
sales background, preferably within the design and/or construction arena Solid
understanding of modular cabinets and countertops Expert skills in 2020 Design
Software (3 year experience minimum) Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook,
Word, Excel Ability to field measure projects Ability to handle a variety of
customer situations with enthusiasm and tact Ability to organize and focus on
simultaneous multiple projects Ability to see project through from conception
to sale Strong communication and organizational skills Engaging personality to
create lasting relationships with team members and clients alike. Self
motivated Clean DMV record Able to work some evenings and weekends

Pay: From $30,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Supplemental Pay: Sales bonuses
