Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and talented Kitchen Designer / Sales Consultant who brings together design ability and strong sales skills. This role requires a professional, client-focused individual who can guide customers through the design process while successfully closing projects. This is a highly interactive, client-facing role where communication, organization, and presentation matter. Key Responsibilities Meet with clients to understand their goals, style preferences, and budgetDesign functional and visually appealing kitchen and cabinetry layoutsPresent design concepts, selections, and pricing proposalsManage client relationships from initial consultation through design completionCollaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal team membersMaintain accurate schedules, notes, and project documentationUtilize digital tools and software to stay organized and efficientQualifications Proven experience in sales, preferably in remodeling, cabinetry, or interior designBackground or strong aptitude in interior design, decorating, or space planningStrong closing ability and confidence in guiding client decisionsHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable using digital tools for scheduling, communication, and design workExperience with ProKitchen (or similar design software) preferredSelf-driven with a commitment to continuous improvementWhat We’re Looking For A professional, polished, and engaging presenceStrong sense of design, layout, and aestheticsAbility to build trust and rapport quickly with clientsPositive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectivelyWork Requirements Must maintain a drug-free lifestyle and be able to pass any required screenings in accordance with company policy and applicable lawMust have reliable personal transportationMust be willing to travel locally to job sites and meetings within: Leon County, Gadsden County, Jefferson County, and Wakulla CountyCompensation & Benefits Base salary + commission based on project profitabilityHigh earning potential for top performers401(k) programOpportunity for advancement within a growing companyEqual Opportunity Employer Statement Florida Design Collective is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
