Kitchen & Bath Designer

Job Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen & bathroom spaces that meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with customers to understand their vision and preferences, providing expert guidance on layout, materials, and finishes. Your ability to upsell products and maintain a strong understanding of market trends will be crucial in delivering exceptional service. Duties • Consult with clients to determine their kitchen & bathroom design needs and preferences. • Create detailed kitchen & bathroom layouts using 2020 design software, ensuring optimal space utilization. • Recommend materials, finishes, fixtures, and appliances that align with client budgets and styles. • Maintain an organized workspace and manage stock levels of design samples and materials. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Stay updated on market trends to offer innovative design solutions. • Meet with prospective and current clients in our showroom & in their homes • Collaborate with owner creating detailed scopes of work with clients • Collaborate with production manager / Job Foreman throughout project - Our work is not subcontracted - It's installed in-house Previous Experience Should Illustrate • Residential renovation design & sales - with an emphasis in kitchens and bathrooms • Excellent communication skills • History of meeting sales goals Requirements • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with clients. • Experience in kitchen & bath design as well as use of 2020 Design software • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products (excel, word, outlook) - as well as Adobe • Ability to connect with clients to create meaningful engagement • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating functional kitchen & bathroom spaces. • A understanding of materials used in a typical kitchen & bathroom remodel Benefits • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Paid time off • Paid training • Profit sharing • Referral program • Retirement plan • Tuition reimbursement Schedule • 8 hour shift • Nights as needed • Weekends as needed Supplemental Pay • Bonus opportunities • Commission pay • Performance bonus • Uncapped commission Work Location: In person
