As a Kitchen and Bath Designer, you will play a key role in helping customers plan and realize their dream kitchens and bathrooms. Role and Responsibilities: As a Kitchen and Bath Designer, you will engage directly with customers to create personalized, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs. You will guide clients through the design process, offering tailored advice and recommendations, while maintaining a professional and supportive customer experience. • Greet customers and assess their kitchen and bath project needs, understanding preferences, budgets, and vision. • Guide customers through the design process, from concept to completion, providing consultative sales and tailored product recommendations. • Conduct showroom tours to showcase products, layouts, and design options, helping customers visualize their project ideas. • Use design software to create detailed layouts that are both practical and visually appealing. • Make adjustments to designs based on customer feedback, ensuring satisfaction with the final plan. • Maintain ongoing communication with customers to monitor project progress and provide additional recommendations if needed. • Check and maintain inventory of samples, brochures, and product literature for customer access. • Ensure showroom displays are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing, contributing to visual merchandising efforts. • Maintain a safe and accessible showroom environment in compliance with safety guidelines. • Support store sales goals by using design expertise to drive product and service sales, fostering customer referrals and repeat business. Required Skills and Experience: • Proven experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design, or related fields. • Experience in sales or customer-facing roles, with a consultative approach to solutions. • Proficiency in design software such as 20-20 Design, SketchUp, or AutoCAD. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to customer satisfaction. • Attention to detail with the ability to create precise and functional designs. • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and store leadership. • Problem-solving skills to offer creative design solutions. • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: • Portfolio of design work or previous experience in a similar role.
