About the position
Poulin Design Center, a family-owned remodeling company with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a Kitchen and Bath Design Associate to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $650 per week and is ideal for individuals who are passionate about home remodeling and client relations. The Design Associate will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service and quality work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bathroom sales and design drafting, with at least two years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is required, along with certifications such as CKBD or AKBD being preferred. Proficiency in design software such as 2020, Chief Architect, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce (I-360) is also highly desirable. In this role, the Design Associate will be responsible for attending goal-setting meetings with the Manager and team, ensuring adherence to current prices and industry practices, and managing sales appointments. The position requires a personal laptop, applicable software, and a reliable vehicle to facilitate in-home appointments and showroom duties. The Design Associate will also be expected to follow the PDC Sales System and assist in ensuring that jobs under construction are running smoothly. This position may require rotating showroom duty, working Saturdays, and traveling for out-of-town appointments as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication, time management, and organizational skills, along with the ability to make sound decisions and adapt to challenging situations.
Responsibilities
• Attend goal-setting meetings with Manager and team.

• Run sales appointments and ensure that jobs under construction are running smoothly.

Requirements
• 2 (+) years of bathroom sales and design drafting experience, required.

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field; CKBD or AKBD certification preferred.

• Knowledge of our brands and proficiency in 2020, Chief Architect, Microsoft 365, Salesforce (I-360), and various design applications preferred.
